This is a studio apartment which has been built into Alma Villa's Ice House. Sounds cold but it is actually a cozy lakeside and beautiful apartment with King bed, gas fireplace and private washroom as a self contained unit, separate from the house. Patio doors look past the deck directly onto lake.  It is one of the few remaining original ice houses on Lake Erie. Originally built to store ice For the summer months that was cut from the lake before the days of refrigeration. Now converted into an extra private suite. 

Your weekly furnished rental term includes:

• Wood for the firepit
• Kayaks, padal boats, and bicycles are available in the summer
• Hot tub (Available from April 1st until November 1st)

Optional Upgrades:

  Each parking pass must be displayed, provides free parking in the village at 202 Main Street, and also at Main Beach in front of 124 Lotus.

  Can be delivered to you and set up on-site for $200 in Port Stanley, and rented for an additional $100 per day.

Pricing:

Mid-week Booking:

Mid-weeks are half the rate of a weekend, and check in is Tuesday at 3 PM until Friday at 9 AM.
A 5PM Monday check-in is available for an additional $75.

Mid-week Days:

Mid-week days may be added to either end of your weekend stay at a rate of $75/day. 

Statutory Holiday:

There is a $75 surcharge for statutory holidays/weekends.

Succeeding Weeks:

There is a $75 discount for succeeding weeks.

A $500 deposit is required to make a reservation.

An autodeposit E-transfer to  rent3000@sympatico.ca  is best, or a credit card as processed through the Inn on the Harbour (+1 519-782-7623). This payment will automatically book your available dates as per the calendar below. Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel atleast 60 days prior to your check-in date. Balance of your rent payments must be paid no later than 60 days prior to your check-in date. Cancellation within 60 days results in a forfeit of the $500 deposit. However, the deposit converts to a non-refundable credit that can be applied to any rent, at any of our accommodations within 1-year of the forfeit date.

We do accept a credit card for deposits and your rent payment. Please note that for the rental payment portion, there is an additional 5% processing fee, to use a credit card.

Once your application is accepted, your reservation deposit becomes a damage deposit and will be refunded to you within 7 days after your stay, provided no damages are incurred.

The Municipality of Central Elgin is becoming stricter towards short term rentals and we have been asked to make certain that all renters are especially aware of these two particular by-laws:

1. Noise By-Law and

2. Traffic and Parking By-law

Please also know that the municipality will show little, to no tolerance towards any infractions.
